I work for a company run by a Chinese couple. He thinks it’s silly, but she makes most of her decisions based on the principles of Feng Shui. Some of those are personnel decisions that could potentially be in violation of employment laws, and may even violate First Amendment rights to freedom of religion. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how case law has dealt with it in the past?
Forget the religious aspect. You’ll notice that was a secondary point. I’m more interested in whether its use in personnel decisions is legal or not.

Especailly for color. Any dream have some sort of color even if it all white or black. I mean especailly when you know where the setting of your dream. –> I know feng shui and dream interpretation is two different thing, I’m just wondering if you can use some concept from feng shui to help. A simple yes or no and a why will be fine. I’m not sure what tag to put it in so i will just choose health.

We are remodeling our kitchen and putting in a half bathroom. The toilet and corner sink will be black. (The washer and dryer will also be in the same room.) The room is located in the “wealth”/ “health and family” areas of the house. With the black toilet and sink, I thought about doing a Mary Englebreit kind of decor. I would like to do something whimsical, but if that’s not “feng shui” enough for the location of the bathroom, I would love to hear some ideas.
